Our Articulated Haul Truck course details the understanding of:

  • Identifying hazards, PPE requirements, and assessing site conditions.
  • Conducting pre-operational and post-operational inspections, reporting defects.
  • Driving, manoeuvring, and positioning the articulated truck, including managing load stability.
  • Coordinating with loading units and safely dumping materials.
  • Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • WHS regulations and safe work practices.

Assessment
  • Assessments: Includes written theory, and practical hands-on tests.
  • Certification: Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO337E.
  • Validity: While the Statement of Attainment does not officially expire, and still remains valid, industry best practice often recommends updating your statements when the national training package gets updated to reflect new safety standards.
  • Requirements: Have adequate English literacy/numeracy, and have appropriate PPE (hard hat, steel cap boots, hi-vis).
